Dive Master Trainingship

Training Details:

• Duration: 4-6 months (flexible based on your start of qualification and studies, your levels, and desired certification)
• Weekly training hrs 40 incl. work weekends and public holidays
• Working hrs do not include your self-paced theory book or online studies
• Trainingship programs offered by Reef Life Saving Inc. & Airie Beach Dive/ Swim Centre provide high-level training in a relaxed environment.
• Work with a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental preservation.

Requirements:

• Valid Australian Standards 2299 Commercial Dive Medical prior to starting.
• You must like teaching children
• You must be able to work on Weekends and Public Holidays
• Min age requirement for Dive Master certification is 18.
• Must have a manual driver’s license
• Must possess a “Working with Children Blue Card” (we can process it for free through our non-profit organization).
• Must have own fins mask, snorkel, wetsuit, knife, and horn. Can be purchased in our shop staff discount

Responsibilities:

• Assist and learn how dive operations works, office work, customer service, and sales.
• Gain hands-on experience in Scuba Diving and Swim Teaching.
• Contribute to office tasks, marketing, gardening, and cleaning.
• Learn about the Great Barrier Reef ecosystem and educate tourists and the local community about its significance.
• Get involved in community projects and marine conservation initiatives led by our non-profit organization, Reef Life Saving Inc.
• Participate in debates and funding applications for marine conservation projects.

Additional Opportunities:
